Description:
Abstract:
In Chapter 5, we present one of the most important applications of ontological knowledge representation and reasoning, the representation of semantic data and knowledge on the Web. In particular, it describes the standards that have been developed, for this purpose, by important standardization bodies such as W3C (RDF, OWL, SPARQL, etc.), as well as other related activities (linked data, schema, etc.) and the connection between the standards and the formalisms discussed in the previous Chapters.
