Abstract: |
Two very common methods of measuring the flow of water in an open channel are considered: venturi flumes and weirs. Initially, the basic parameters of the flow in an open channel are defined and the main characteristics of its behavior are described. The principle of operation and the way of using the above measuring devices are described next.
