In this chapter, the clinical images showing carious lesions on the molar surface and root will be presented, depending on their stage of development. The clinical criteria for caries classification according to ICDAS will be described and analyzed. Additionally, the clinical criteria for classifying carious lesions into active and arrested will be analyzed. The structure of the chapter will be done mainly with text, clinical images and interactive figures.
