Abstract:
In this chapter the anatomy, embryology, histology, structure and use of the hard dental tissues of the molar and tooth root, ie enamel, dentin and ostein, are described. Additionally, the pulp-odontin complex and the close anatomical and functional relationship of these two structures will be described and, additionally, the reactions of the pulp to external noxious stimuli will be analyzed. Emphasis will be placed on the visualization of all the details mentioned above, which is why the chapter is particularly enriched with figures, images and videos.
