Description:
Abstract:
The aim of this chapter is not to provide an exhaustive presentation of the other social and human sciences with which history collaborates or competes. Such a goal is unfeasible. The analysis in this chapter focuses on some of the most significant problems that have arisen over time—or are still at the forefront of interdisciplinary collaboration or contention. Our ultimate goal is to broaden our understanding regarding the position of history in the world of sciences, so that we can delve deeper into the scientific nature and character of history as it "advances" and "advances by enriching its problematics."
