The chapter “Tactics of Tennis” examines the relationship between the concepts of tactics and strategy, describing the phases and types of tactical actions in tennis. These actions are divided into 1. Preparation and decision-making actions, 2. Execution actions and decisions, and 3. Actions of competitive behavior. Additionally, it presents and analyzes the basic principles and the most common tactical actions for various competitive situations, the characteristics of different player categories, and the peculiarities of tactics in Doubles and Mixed Doubles matches.
