Description:
Abstract:
The chapter “Technique of Tennis” describes the concept and role of athletic technique while presenting the distinct components that make up the sport's technique (grips, strokes, movement) and analyzing each. The various movements involved in each stroke are categorized into main actions and secondary (or auxiliary) actions, which work sequentially and cohesively to achieve a specific purpose. Simultaneously, the biomechanical principles that form the foundation for teaching and developing the sport's technique are introduced.
