In this chapter, the Fetal Electrocardiogram (fECG) is presented in detail. Initially, the basic properties of the fECG, along with the methods of signal acquisition, are discussed. This is followed by an analysis of the signal processing techniques. The aim of this analysis is to assess the cardiac health status of the fetus.
