| Abstract: |
In this chapter the student becomes familiar with the R language and the RStudio environment, and understands the different types of variables supported by R (lists, data frames, tables, factors, and vectors). The goal of this chapter is for the student to be able to create their own functions in R, to understand some basic R functions for loading, processing, and exploring experimental data, and to be able to use online resources so that they can proceed independently in further learning of the language.
