Description:
Abstract:
Refrigeration processes have always been linked to the environment. The most essential use of refrigeration is to change the local environment so that food can be preserved longer and people can feel more comfortable in their surroundings. The institutions introduced to protect the environment require the development of new technologies for their implementation. Existing refrigeration and air conditioning systems must operate safely, and new ones must be designed with specifications that comply with international treaties. The following are analyzed: International and European environmental policy on refrigerants. Reduction of ODS emissions (recovery-reclamation method, processes for removing pollutants from refrigerants). Destruction of CFCs. Environmentally friendly refrigerants. Thermophysical properties of environmentally friendly substances. Bibliography
