Distribution System Loads
Authors: Georgilakis, Pavlos
Reviewer: Stavrakakis, Georgios
Description:
Abstract:
This chapter studies the loads of the electric power distribution system. The technical characteristics of the loads are defined and analyzed, such as the demand factor, utilization factor, load factor, and diversity factor. It is emphasized that load variability increases as we move from the high/medium voltage substation level down to the individual consumer level.
