Electrical Characteristics of Transmission Lines
Authors: Georgilakis, Pavlos
Reviewer: Stavrakakis, Georgios
Description:
Abstract:
This chapter focuses on the analysis and calculation of transmission line parameters. For the most important of these—inductance and capacitance—the analysis leads to unified expressions applicable to all configurations of three-phase transmission lines. The same unified forms are also obtained for lines with bundled conductors. The influence of the ground and ground wires on the parameters of transmission lines is also examined.
