Abstract:
In this chapter, we present the main types of ancient Greek lyric poetry, such as iambus, ode, and elegy, and we place special emphasis on the major form of dramatic poetry (tragedy, comedy, satyr play). The chapter closes with excerpts from theoretical and literary texts, exercises, a summary, and bibliography.
