Abstract: |
The gender gap in entrepreneurship is converting at slow pace and still remains high. Under the umbrella "female business" are crowded millions of firms with very different structural characteristics and prospects. The access of women into the labour market is problematic due to high unemployment, predetermined gender roles that still exist in many countries kai inadequate family support policies. More specifically, the propensity of women to entrepreneurship is low. The need to support female entrepreneurship is obvious. International organizations and national governments implement a network of social and economic policy measures to support female entrepreneurship.
