Abstract: |
In the chapter titled “Queer Genetics” we aim to explore the historical context of the biomedical discourse and its influence on the nature versus nurture debate, particularly about biased interpretations of life rooted in eugenic whiteness, especially at the genetic level. Furthermore, we strive to critically explore genetics as a counter to normative and patriarchal views of life, emphasizing the need to decolonize science, specifically genetics.
