Description:
Abstract:
The term IoT (Internet of Things) refers to a network of connected devices, which facilitates communication between these devices and Cloud services. The Cayenne platform and the development board based on ESP32 offer a range of significant advantages and applications in the IoT field. The Cayenne platform by myDevices provides a flexible and integrated solution for developing IoT applications, allowing the transmission and visualization of data from sensors across multiple SoC families. In this laboratory, we will use Cayenne with a development board based on ESP32 with a camera module, which is a popular embedded system in IoT. Using the Arduino IDE, we can program the ESP32 to capture and transmit images, with applications in machine learning and IoT. The two exercises in this worksheet are useful modules, presenting practical solutions and applications for the development and exploitation of IoT.
