Description:
Abstract:
In this chapter, recent Cenozoic biozone systems and case studies from geological records of the Mediterranean are presented. The Cenozoic marine layers of the Greek area are classified based on Nannofossil concentrations and the determination of Cenozoic biozones and they are depicted on thematic maps for the Greek geological territory.
