Abstract:
In this chapter, the reader is introduced to the concepts of arrays and character arrays (strings). Both one-dimensional and multi-dimensional arrays are studied in terms of their characteristics and operations (declaration, definition, reading and printing array elements, assignment of values). The use of arrays as function arguments is described briefly (without pointers). Strings and arrays of strings are analyzed, and the basic functions for string manipulation are presented, along with functions for converting strings to numerical values.
