Description:
Abstract:
In this chapter, the reader is introduced to the concept and usage of variables in programming. The types of variables in the C language are analyzed, including their internal representation and functional characteristics. Subsequently, the basic input and output functions of the C language are described, which facilitate the communication of the program with the external environment (input and output devices). Next, the categories of expressions are presented, and the types of operators are studied: increment/decrement, assignment, relational, and logical operators, as well as the sizeof operator. Following that, the concepts and properties of precedence and associativity are analyzed, and the chapter concludes with discussions on explicit and implicit type conversion processes.
