Άσκηση 7: Αποσφαλμάτωση (Debugging)

Abstract

Σε αυτήν την άσκηση παρουσιάζεται το σύστημα αποσφαλμάτωσης (debugging) της Prolog, καθώς διαφέρει αρκετά από τα αντίστοιχα συστήματα άλλων γλωσσών. Εξηγούνται οι λειτουργίες (ports) call, exit, fail, redo, με χρήση παραδειγμάτων αρχικά εσφαλμένων που καλούνται οι φοιτητές να τα διορθώσουν, ανακαλύπτοντάς πρώτα τα σφάλματα με τον debugger.

This exercise introduces the Prolog debugging system, as it differs considerably from analogous systems in other programming languages. The ports call, exit, fail, and redo are explained, using examples with errors that the students are asked to discover and correct using the debugger.
