Abstract:
In the post-digital era, i.e. since the late 1990s and especially the post-internet period, electronic music has been enriched by new forms of multi-sensory action. This comes because of the multiple stimuli overwhelmed using ubiquitous mobile technologies and the new ways of human interaction through communication platforms. Musical creation enriched with visual and textual content as well as performative enactment, is no longer defined as an absolute sonic art. More complex immersive and multilevel forms emerge, involving almost the entire range of our sensory functions.
