Description:
Abstract:
The chapter presents Hannes Meyer’s work that he developed in collaboration with the Swiss Cooperative Union during the years 1919-1927. Meyer’s research and spatial experimentation attempted to respond to the estranging, modern metropolitan experience through the conscious ideological incorporation of the very same dominant metropolitan abstraction.
