Abstract:
This chapter presents a study of a geothermal district heating and cooling system installation in nine public buildings supplied by a central district heating plant. The installation is designed to fully cover the heating and cooling needs of the buildings and the hot water demand of one of them. The required calculations are performed for the appropriate selection of equipment, and explanations and details are provided on the key points of the study, along with a description of the chosen equipment.
