Description:
Abstract:
In this chapter, an example calculation of an open geothermal system is presented following the recommended dimensioning methodology. The system under study aims to cover the needs of both summer and winter air conditioning, as well as the demand for domestic hot water for a residential building in the Nea Artaki area of Evia. The installation is designed to fully meet the requirements for climate control and hot water use according to the season and corresponding demand. Based on geological data and the building's needs, necessary calculations are performed, and suitable equipment is selected for the installation, along with a technical description of the chosen solution.
