| Abstract: |
The first chapter contains an analysis of the title. According to positive psychology, well-being consists of positive emotions, involvement and engagement, relationships, meaning and achievements. Since music therapy focuses on the healthy potential of the human being, well-being is rather a precondition in every session of the journey than an ultimate goal. And this journey is a symphonic one, because it unites the experiences with the dissonances of society, of time and space, of the therapist and the client in a pleasant, functioning, dynamic and harmonic musical sharing with meaning. The necessity for this book in the Greek academic area is also illustrated.
