The issue addressed in this book concerns the introduction of information systems in modern businesses, through the strengthening of entrepreneurship, technology, and innovative activities, in the context of rational, efficient, and effective management of business resources. In particular, the most basic parameters that influence the development, formation, and intensity of business and innovative activities of modern businesses are recorded, analyzed, and evaluated, through theory, empirical investigation, and documentation, as well as the analysis of the policies practised in the light of the rational, efficient and effective management of business resources. The main objective of this book is to become familiar with the main topics related to the analysis of business resource management systems, emphasizing the strategic role and importance of the relevant functions, which can be achieved by exploiting the use of modern management information systems, for effective management, the rapid flow of information, as well as the full exploitation of modern technological tools, while achieving economies of scale and resource efficiency.
