This book is intended for undergraduate and graduate students studying sports tourism, as well as professionals in the field who wish to gain an in-depth understanding of the relevant theoretical background. It can be used by both unfamiliar readers and advanced scientists in the field. Teachers, students, and professionals in sports tourism will find in this book the necessary material to understand concepts related to: tourism, sports tourism, motivations and socio-psychological needs, tourism typology, tourism image, tourism marketing, green tourism, sports tourism, and people with disabilities. The aim of the book is to provide theoretical training on issues related to sports tourism, the development of business ideas and the sustainable development of sports tourism destinations, as well as the management of teams/participants in sports tourism activities and related forms.
