Description:
Abstract:
The first section is introductory and includes four chapters, while the second section focuses on issues briefly presented in the first section and includes two chapters. In particular, the chapters of the introductory section concern an introduction to lexicology, the classification and research of lexical construction processes, the lexical fields and an introduction to lexicography. The in-depth chapters cover neology and intensification in the Greek language. The originality of the book lies not only in the holistic, concise, creative, pedagogical and multimodal utilization and completion of contemporary literature, alongside the addition of exercises and evaluation tests, but also in the submission of a new model for the development of digital lecture notes and a data bank that provides material to be used by teachers of lexicology and lexicography classes.
