Description:
Abstract:
The purpose of the textbook, which aims at undergraduate and postgraduate students from the field of applied sciences, is to present and explain in a simple and comprehensible way the basic statistical concepts, and especially, the principles and methods of scientific research required for the design and conduct of experiments, the presentation and analysis of experimental data and the interpretation of results. This textbook covers the basic theory and emphasizes the visualization and statistical analysis of data from the main experimental designs, applied to the agricultural sciences using the R programming language.
