Clinical Sociology defines Sociology itself within real life, at the level of the neighbourhood, and takes sociologists and social scientists in general out of the often enclosed academic space. The activation of Clinical Sociology, as presented in the textbook, leads to a significant revitalization of social thought and its applications in the fields of the dialectic of social field and network, of diagnosis and intervention in the field and network. As to the social bond and the social self: the research methods in Clinical Sociology: the community as a field of intervention, trauma, art, therapy and mental health. Presents applications to sustainability and vulnerability. Defines the levels of the process of diagnosis and problem solving in social development and defines the possibilities for the development of the social asset: social, economic, human, cultural, natural and bio-social capital. .
