Abstract:
In this chapter the reader is introduced to the specific learning disorders with reading deficit. Particularly, the following are presented: a) the specific learning disorder of reading with deficit in the recognition of words (dyslexia), b) the specific learning disorder of reading with deficit in comprehension, S-RCD, and c) hyperlexia. At the same time, the reader has the opportunity to understand the transition from the specific learning disorders to the identification of learning barriers and then to the universal planning and especially to the differentiation of teaching through the creation of a facilitative learning and teaching environment.
