Abstract:
In this chapter the child's transition from trace to writing is presented and then, reference is made to the graphokinetic side of writing and the perceptual control of graphic movements, with emphasis on the role of fine motor skills, visual perception and visual perceptual coordination of graphic hand movements. The most important models of writing production and the factors (individual and external) of its learning and development are presented. Finally, reference is made to didactic approaches and indicative didactic applications for the learning of writing.
