Description:
Abstract:
The book serves two purposes. 1. It is an introduction to Aristotle's philosophy tailored to the needs of Greek university students—the product of many years of teaching. 2. Through selected translated texts, it enables every important aspect of Aristotle's thought to be taught from the original. Each of the five main chapters is divided into two equal parts. The first part is an analysis of the relevant chapter of Aristotelian philosophy, and the second is a selection of relevant Aristotelian texts with the original, the translation, and a brief commentary.
