Metrophonia—Parallage—Melos: Presentation of the three stages of learning and transmission of Byzantine melodies: Starting with the numbering of the voices (intervals of a second) and the stepwise movement within the basic intervallic structures of a piece, Progressing through the rendering of the degrees with their corresponding apechimata (a type of solmization, using the polysyllabic names of the notes such as ananes, neanes, etc.), Reaching the traditional sonic result (melos).
