Description:
Abstract:
In this chapter the case for statistical significance of the difference between more than two mean values, i.e. when more than two groups of specimens are developed in an experiment. The usual statistical test for these cases which is analyzed in this chapter is analysis of variance (ANOVA). Two cases of ANOVA application are examined, the case of the experiment with a factor study on multiple groups of specimens. In the same chapter the same experimental design is considered, but in cases where there is no normality of the distribution of frequencies of the various test groups and corresponding non-parametric methods should be applied such as Kruskal–Wallis One Way ANOVA.
