Abstract:
Man and music have been inextricably linked since ancient times [1]. Nowadays, there is a shift in the distribution of music information to the format of digital files due to the spectacular spread of computer playback systems, the expansion of digital distribution networks and the trend of the music industry. Ordinary users can now have collections of several tens or even hundreds of thousands of music tracks, while online music libraries [2][3] may have several tens of millions. Subsequently, the necessity of efficient management of these musical data is evident, a fact confirmed by the particularly intense activity of the international research community [4] in this field. In addition to the necessary theoretical framework, the book will also include complete Matlab programming source code in its individual topics.[1] Politis, D. (2007).
