Description:
Abstract:
Third chapter introduces the basic concepts of chemical and enzyme kinetics in order to understand the methodology applied to kinetic photometric determinations of clinical analytes. This methodology is presented in detail, in terms of its fields of application, its experimental steps, the calibration method, the need for blind sample analysis, the steps of its protocol and the calculations involved. The differences between the kinetic method and the end-point method are highlighted and the advantages of kinetic method are listed.
