Description:
Abstract:
Ninth chapter describes the requirements of the market and the international scientific community for in vitro diagnostic products and reagents used in clinical chemistry laboratories: what information should be included in their enclosed leaflets concerning their proper storage and use and what their properties should be. Particular emphasis will be placed on their clinical and analytical characteristics which should be checked and reported by the manufacturers. Among them is the calculation of reference values which are used by clinicians to make the right decision for diagnosis and monitoring of the patient.
