Abstract:
H Γεωγραφικά Σταθμισμένη Παλινδρόμηση (Geographically Weighted Regression– GWR) είναι μία σύγχρονη μέθοδος παλινδρόμησης που επιτρέπει με αποδοτικό τρόπο την υλοποίηση τοπικών μοντέλων. Η μέθοδος GWR επεκτείνει το παραδοσιακό πλαίσιο παλινδρόμησης (γραμμική παλινδρόμηση) επιτρέποντας την εκτίμηση τοπικών παραμέτρων ώστε να μπορεί να εξεταστεί κατά πόσο η σχέση μεταξύ εξαρτημένης και ανεξάρτητων μεταβλητών είναι σταθερή ή μεταβάλετε στο χώρο. Πρόκειται για μία σύγχρονη μέθοδο χωρικής ανάλυσης που πρωτοπαρουσιάστηκε το 1996 και εξελίσσεται συνεχώς ενώ υποστηρίζεται από πολλά λογισμικά πλέων (R, Stata, ArcGIS και αυτόνομα λογισμικά όπως το GWR3 & GWR 4).
