| Abstract: |
This chapter describes the main modules of the TV tuner. Within the tuner the reverse process, followed by the signal before transmission takes place. This process consists of tuning, demodulating, decoding and reproducing the television video, audio and data signals driving the modules of the receiver. While the focus is on digital TV receivers, aspects of analog receivers are briefly discussed.
