This chapter discusses IPTV, Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) as a two-way, interactive, multimedia network service through which television content including video, audio, text, graphics and data is transferred over the packet-switched telecommunications network (the Internet). The main modules of an IPTV infrastructure are described.
