| Abstract: |
In this lab, students are given the opportunity for a first hands-on experience with the PSPICE simulation software introduced in the first lab. Additionally, a simple voltage divider circuit is built and tested, allowing students to become familiar with the use of a breadboard. Theoretical analysis is also performed on the behavior of a first-order resistor-capacitor (RC) circuit, followed by the implementation of a corresponding circuit, enabling observation of transient phenomena. The study of the circuit’s behavior is directly related to the capacitive characteristics of bipolar cables. Prototyping guidelines are available in Appendix A of this manual.
