Description:
Abstract:
The structure, function, and use of two widely used devices for the transfer of liquids and gases, the centrifugal pump and the centrifugal blower are described. The main parameters governing their operation are presented and theoretical and experimental methods for determining their values are indicated. The behavior of these devices as parts of liquid and gas transport installations is also examined.
