Abstract:
The book is expected to be used in university courses included in the EUDOXUS database (in addition to the course in the Department of Public Administration at Panteion University, where the author teaches), given that the title, even if changed to something like balance sheet analysis, financial statement analysis, is a core course in all departments of economics, business administration, accounting, and finance, and more generally in economics departments of Technical Institutes (tourism, etc.), and possibly in the Business Administration Department of the Hellenic Open University. It can also be used in undergraduate and postgraduate study programs, especially for teaching and helping students from non-economic schools and business executives (because of the nature of the course) to understand basic concepts. In general, teachers, students, and business executives can find material to help them understand topics related to issues such as: financial analysis of financial statements, financial statements of Greek companies and accounting practices, ratios, sources and uses of capital, cash flow statements, management performance analysis, business valuation and share valuation.
