| Abstract: |
Postmodernism and Deconstruction. Art at the End of the 20th Century and the Beginning of the 21st. Modern technology enabled the transformation and combination of image and sound, as artists began using the video synthesizer, which could generate processed designs of color, form, and audio. Subjective self-expression appears to become an end in itself—an existential necessity for the artist to communicate and survive through their art. The coexistence of diverse directions has characterized international architecture since the early 1970s.
