This seventh chapter includes the most important epigramatists of Late Antiquity with texts which illustrate the themes, techniques and literary orientation of each one. There is a general and ad hoc introduction for every author and every epigram and detailed commets. Abundant visual material is provided together with Roman papyri containing marriage contracts and sonets of Shakespeare.
