In the seventh chapter, a mapping of the Mineral Wealth of Greece is provided. Examples include: Naxos – Emery Tinos – Marbles Santorini – Theran Earth Mykonos – Barite Euboea, Fthiotida Prefecture (Larymna) – Laterites Milos – Perlite Eastern Macedonia (Pangaio) – Gold, Manganese Western Macedonia – Lignite Kozani – Chromite Mesolongi – Salt Thrace – Uranium Northern Aegean – Petroleum Mainland Greece (Parnassus) – Bauxite. This chapter aims to emphasize and highlight that our country possesses significant mineral wealth and a variety of minerals and ores with great industrial interest and a wide range of applications.
