Abstract: |
The main objective of this chapter is to immerse the student in the various techniques available for data exploration, so that he or she is able to become more familiar with them, in order to most successfully complete the task of Data Mining. More specifically, the student will be introduced to techniques of Summary Statistics and Visualization. They will study and apply measures of location, dispersion, and correlation, as well as visualization techniques such as histograms, scatter plots, and scatter plots. They will learn to compute the various measures of position, dispersion, and correlation, and use the R tool to compute these measures. Finally, he will have a first contact with Rattle.
