Abstract: |
In this chapter, bars will be developed as a fourth class of precision attachments. The most important points of their design and the specific techniques of their application to fixed prostheses. Tasks, are presented. Their beneficial effects on the teeth or the roots of the teeth will also be discussed which are applied and which are precisely due to their design and support. They will be reported all cases of bars depending on whether they are ductile or non ductile, rigid or non rigid. Indicatively, the following bars will be mentioned as representatives: Ceka, Dolder and circular cross section Ackerman beam.
