Here we will present a special class of precision attachments that are placed both in cured tooth roots or even on implants as retainers for overdentures. Both rigid and non rigid conjunctions of this category will be mentioned. The stages and methods of their application will be mentioned as well as their design features. In the end of this chapter, a particular group of theses attachments, will be mentioned which is applied in dental technology, for the last twenty years, that of magnetic systems. This group belongs to this category because it shows several similarities with the attachments of the category, with the most important fact that the magnets are applied to treated tooth roots and implants. As an example, the representative attachments of the category will be mentioned such as: Conod, Dalbo, Baer, ​​Rotherman, Gerber, Schubiger and magnetic Dyna system.
